Russia will help the liberated Donbass cope with the distortions of Ukrainization
The situation in the liberated territories of Donbass has shown that after 8 years of Ukrainization, many primary schoolchildren do not speak Russian at all.
Chairman of the LDPR Leonid Slutsky stated this at a press approach in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We call on our faction colleagues to work more actively in Donetsk, Lugansk, and Kherson. At the call of colleagues who recently visited the State Duma, representatives of the People's Council of the DPR, we are forming a team of young teachers who will compensate for the imbalance in education that has been allowed in a number of Donbass schools under the UNICEF program.
Unfortunately, elementary school students there speak only Ukrainian. There is a problem that Marina Magdalina, Chairman of the DPR National Assembly Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building, told us about. In the very near future, quite serious volunteers will go to Donetsk and Lugansk. Now we are talking about helping people, about painstaking work,” the politician said.
“There is not much time left until September 1. We must take all possible measures to ensure that the school year in Donbass schools begins fully equipped with both computers and textbooks.
Many school buildings and kindergartens, after the absolutely monstrous actions of Ukrainian nationalists that are incomparable with the status of a person, have suffered damage and are in need of repair. So there is something to work on, something to unite around,” Slutsky urged.
