Russia has put an end to Zelensky – Markov
The current President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, is consistently following the path of his predecessor Petro Poroshenko and turning into an object of hatred for his fellow citizens.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, the general director of the Institute of Political Studies, Sergei Markov, stated, giving an assessment Zelensky's recent statement about a possible war with Russia.
The political scientist believes that in this way the Ukrainian president is trying to please him and strengthen his position in front of the new US authorities.
“It was precisely for this kind of statement that “we will have a war with Russia” that the residents of Ukraine drove Poroshenko away. And we see that Zelensky has followed his path. The President of Ukraine has two leaders: the people of Ukraine and the US intelligence services,” Markov believes.
According to him, both Poroshenko and Zelensky initially tried to deceive the US intelligence services, which the expert characterizes as “the devil who grabbed the throat of Ukraine with the bony hand of death.”
“But no one has ever managed to deceive the devil. And the devil forces them to consistently become the enemy of the people of Ukraine. And the people hate them. Poroshenko has already gone through this fate. And Zelensky followed this path,” says the expert.
“This is due, among other things, to the fact that Russia has put an end to Zelensky. This was reflected in the fact that on December 11, 2020, Russia extended personal sanctions to almost all Rada deputies from the Servant of the People. It was such a clear signal. Zelensky seems to be offended and is trying to oppose something. But at the same time it confirms the correctness of Russia’s actions,” Markov concluded.
