This was reported by RIA Novosti, press secretary of Rosselkhoznadzor Yulia Melano.

According to her, in the near future a group of Turkish specialists will come to study the Russian veterinary supervision system and inspect meat processing plants.

In addition, according to Melano, the Russian delegation intends to promote lamb, poultry and their by-products, as well as finished meat and dairy products on the Turkish market. For this purpose, the necessary consultations will be held soon.

“In order to ensure epizootic well-being in the region, an agreement was reached on the exchange of experience and specialists on issues such as the fight against animal diseases, laboratory diagnostic methods, and vaccine production,” said a representative of Rosselkhoznadzor.
