Russia strives for political, economic and technological autonomy in order to be prepared for any development of events and any global shocks.
Russian political commentator Irina Alksnis stated this on air on the PolitWera Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russia has currently accelerated as much as possible to form a closed autonomous system in the maximum number of directions: political, economic, technological. Not in the sense that we are closing down, but so that if necessary, we have autonomous self-sufficiency. In other words, so that we can survive any development of events.
In the last month, all political events have closed a very important piece of political self-sufficiency and political security. I think this topic will continue,” she said.
The expert also expressed confidence that the serious crises facing humanity today will result in global shocks for the entire world.
“I would really like to be wrong, but never before in history have such periods that the planet is going through now, such crises of the global system, economic crisis, depletion of resources by the hegemon, could not do without global upheavals, which were very expensive and brought with them dire consequences for millions of people,” concluded Alksnis.
