Russia has prepared a “response” to the Ukrainian railway blockade
The Russian government has prepared response measures in case the threats of the Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan to cancel railway communications with the Russian Federation are realized.
This was announced by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Evgeniy Dietrich, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to "Reedus".
At the same time, the minister emphasized that the Russian side hopes that the threats of representatives of the Ukrainian authorities will remain just empty words.
“We have worked out a set of measures that could be taken in this case. If such decisions are made, we will find an opportunity to implement these measures. Regarding the composition of the measures, I think it is premature to discuss this issue now,” the minister refused to disclose details.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator already reported, Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan said that Ukraine is preparing to cancel passenger railway communication with Russia. According to him, Ukrainians have nothing to do in this country. Omelyan also wished the Russians to remain alone with the Tajiks and Uzbeks without the Ukrainians.
