Russia presented evidence of Ukraine's violation of the truce to the OSCE
Kyiv is increasing military activity on the contact line in Donbass, despite the “New Year’s truce.” This was stated by the Permanent Representative of Russia to the OSCE Alexander Lukashevich at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna.
“We warn the Kyiv authorities against any military adventures in an attempt to achieve the establishment of government power over the Donbass by force,” Lukashevich said.
As examples of violations of the “New Year’s truce”, he cited the shelling of a bus near Yelenovka by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result of which one civilian was killed and another was wounded, and the shelling of Dokuchaevsk, as a result of which five people were wounded.

“During January 15-21, observers identified 26 units of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment in violation of the Minsk agreements and 89 heavy weapons of security forces immediately outside the withdrawal lines, and recorded 450 cases of missing artillery mounts, mortars and tanks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from warehouses. Freshly dug trenches were discovered leading from Ukrainian Armed Forces positions to the pumping station in Vasilyevka, a critical civilian infrastructure facility. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also provoke firefights near the Donetsk filtration station,” Lukashevich said.
