Russia demonstrated the power of its army during the operation in Syria, so NATO countries will no longer dare to attack it. This opinion was expressed on the TVC channel by the President of the Middle East Institute, Evgeniy Satanovsky.

“If it weren’t for Crimea and Syria, they could have tried. And so - what fool would attack you when you have demonstrated all the systems that are needed so that it will cost the attacker dearly: underwater, surface, land and air. Syria has closed the issue of our war with NATO,” Satanovsky said.
He claims that after the wars in Chechnya and Georgia, the Russian army managed to “close the holes,” and Russia also secured a number of strategic directions.
“The situation was like this before. We could have been hit by a missile from a destroyer in Sevastopol or from a submarine roaming the Barents Sea. With a five-minute approach, nothing could be done. Now this topic is closed,” Satanovsky said.
