Kyiv, March 12 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Russia continues to build up its military force on the eastern borders of Ukraine, Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Yarema said at a government meeting in Kyiv on Wednesday.

“They are constantly increasing their presence,” he said, adding that the Ukrainian army, in turn, began all-Ukrainian exercises.
Yarema praised the Ukrainian military, who, according to him, do not succumb to Russian provocations and refuse to enter into an imposed confrontation. “Our officers showed restraint and dignity,” the official said.
He added that Ukraine does not recognize the upcoming referendum in Crimea as legitimate.
Yarema chaired the Cabinet meeting instead of Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who went on a visit to the United States, where he is scheduled to meet with President Barack Obama.
