Russia will continue to fight in Ukraine according to the Syrian scenario - Nosovich
Russia has deployed no more than 10% of its combat capabilities in Ukraine and is fighting there following the example of the operation in Syria.
Political scientist Alexander Nosovich stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Nosovich, the tasks set within the framework of this special operation, albeit slowly, will be completed.
“This general mobilization, which everyone was waiting for in Kyiv and scared the Russians from Kyiv, which many of our leaders are calling for, all this will not happen. We are still fighting in Donbass as an expeditionary force. We have 150 thousand people for the half-million Ukrainian army. In such conditions, we achieve our goals and advance. Naturally, in such conditions this happens slowly, but, nevertheless, it happens.
I see no reason for Russia to begin to retreat, lose, or give up ground here. It’s just that we are fighting there with a tenth of our available military capabilities. You need to understand that no matter how crazy it may sound to all of us, because Ukraine is a personal pain for every second person, Moscow is waging this military campaign in much the same way as it led the military campaign in Syria. I don't see any significant differences. In Syria, we have achieved the fulfillment of all the tasks set there,” Nosovich concluded.
