Russia conducted a surprise inspection of military aircraft in Crimea
Aviation of the Black Sea Fleet, as part of a sudden check of the combat readiness of its forces, launched missile and bomb attacks on targets at a coastal training ground. This was reported by the press service of the Black Sea Fleet.

Thus, after aerial reconnaissance of the sea area by Su-24MR aircraft, Su-30SM multirole fighters and Su-24M front-line bombers struck with unguided missiles and bombs at coastal targets in the Opuk training ground area.
“Be-12 anti-submarine amphibious aircraft and Ka-27 anti-submarine helicopters practiced searching for a mock enemy submarine using lowered sonar stations. Today, a pair of Ka-27PS search and rescue helicopters will search for and provide assistance to a person in distress on the water,” the message says.
The combat readiness test involved 15 airplanes and helicopters, which carried out more than 20 sorties.
