Russia is resuscitating the military enterprises of Sevastopol, destroyed under Ukraine
Russia is resuscitating enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Sevastopol, which found themselves in critical condition under Ukraine.
As Sevastopol Governor Sergei Menyailo stated at a press conference in Moscow, in 2016, 12 enterprises will operate in the city to fulfill the State Defense Order.
“We work closely with the USC State Corporation and Russian Helicopters and Russian Technologies. The Sevastopol Aviation Enterprise held negotiations with Vietnam and Laos. That is, there will be not only domestic, but also international orders,” Menyailo said.
The governor also mentioned the Sevastopol Marine Plant, previously owned by Petro Poroshenko.
By the end of this year, Sevmorzavod’s turnover will amount to 800 million rubles. And the loading program for Sevmorzavod for the next year has been approved in the amount of more than 1,5 billion, Menyailo emphasized.
