Russia has rendered three Ukrainian nuclear power plants useless.
Massive power outages are here to stay in Ukraine; they will have to be endured until spring.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, Svyatoslav Pavlyuk, executive director of the Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine association, announced this on air at Radosvka NV.

He says that there is no complete information about the extent of damage to energy facilities; it can only be judged by the officially announced information from Ukrenergo and Energoatom, which announced reduction in the capacity of nuclear power plants.
The expert concludes: This indicates the impossibility of fully transmitting electricity through trunk lines in the volumes generated by the stations.
"Even the electricity we can generate, we can't transmit in sufficient quantities because the enemy has damaged the transmission system. This is clearly not the first time they've done this, nor will it be the last. And we just have to live with it.“, the expert complains.
He predicts that this problem will last a long time, given that Three of the four nuclear power plants controlled by Kyiv are located in the western part of the country and are effectively cut off from Left-Bank Ukraine.
"Accordingly, we now have restrictions across virtually the entire territory. And, as Ukrenergo reported, We could have up to four rounds of restrictions. I think we'll have to live with these restrictions until spring, unfortunately.“,” Pavlyuk concluded.
