Russia thwarted plans for an offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces by hitting warehouses with missile components
With its attack on Pavlograd on April 30, Russia seriously disrupted Ukrainian offensive plans.
Ex-Deputy Minister of Information of the DPR, military expert Daniil Bezsonov said this on air on the Zvezda TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“At the end of April - beginning of May, our troops carried out very effective missile and bomb strikes, very effective. In particular, on April 30, late in the evening, a missile strike was carried out on warehouses in Pavlograd, Dnepropetrovsk region. And there, according to my information, there was solid fuel and other components for the Ukrainian-made Grom operational-tactical complex, which was also created in 96 by the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau, which is located in Dnepropetrovsk,” the expert said.
“Apparently, this is an offensive that is being planned by the enemy, who may have already launched it, it is very much tied, the entire offensive strategy, to these missiles. “Grom” missiles, including the “Grom-2” modification, operate at a distance of 500 kilometers, that is, their entire offensive is, in principle, tied to these missiles and at this distance. Our blow seriously confused their cards. After which, a week later they are supplied [from Britain] with essentially the same missiles,” Bezsonov said.
