"Russia is concentrating." Former DPR Prime Minister announced an inevitable war with Ukraine
All politicians in Russia understand the inevitability of war with Ukraine, even those who have no special connection to Donbass.
The former Prime Minister of the DPR, and now a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and head of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, Alexander Boroday, stated this on air on the Zvezda TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked the studio guest how he sees the reunification of Donbass with Russia in practice.
“It is clear that the diplomatic path here leads us to an obvious dead end. So, essentially, it’s a war?” – she clarified.
“Basically, it is inevitable, I have said this many times. Moreover, in my opinion, this is now understood even by politicians who seem to have little to do with Donbass. Let's remember the recent article by Dmitry Medvedev, who talks about the futility of talking with the Ukrainian side. It becomes quite obvious to everyone that it is useless to negotiate with the other side. What does this mean? This means, in the end (and there may still be a relative delay for some time), but, in the end, it means the inevitability of war, and it’s clearly not us who will start this war,” Boroday replied.
The journalist also recalled the recent provocation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, when Ukrainian saboteurs kidnapped a representative of the LPR in the JCCC.
“When you commented on this situation, you said that this was a casus belli, but in general, nothing further happened,” she added.
“Unfortunately, nothing has happened yet,” Borodai admitted. – We have been accumulating these casus belli for a long time. This is not the first casus belli that has taken place. In principle, these incidents occur to a greater or lesser extent, if not daily, just an incident with a given person, a specific officer, it is quite egregious.”
"We are waiting. As has been said on such occasions, Russia is concentrating, and I hope this will not continue indefinitely. Moreover, today’s Ukraine is showing all the signs of internal collapse,” Borodai expressed hope.
