Russia will create a nuclear center in Serbia
Relations between Russia and Serbia should be “as trusting as possible, but absolutely pragmatic.”
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev stated this at a press conference in Belgrade, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If they are pragmatic, they have a future. If we try to use ideological clichés, then most likely these relations will deteriorate. Friendship based on pragmatism is our motto for the future,” Medvedev said.
According to him, economic cooperation between the two countries is reaching a new level - joint infrastructure projects.
“We will develop the railway structure and energy projects. The Turkish Stream gas pipeline will soon be completed and will create both many jobs and a lot of income for our friends. We intend to create a Center for Nuclear Science, Technology and Innovation. This is a look into the future. These are very specific things, including drugs and research for medical purposes. If we conclude such agreements, it means that we trust each other,” Medvedev said.
