Russia is taking the path of full adaptation to sanctions
Under the conditions of Western sanctions, Russia is now experiencing a transition from the logic of import substitution to the logic of restructuring the system of relations with international partners.
Anastasia Likhacheva, deputy director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need more countries that need something from us. It seems to me that a very important change has occurred in the logic of our government, and in general in the understanding of how to work under sanctions, and not immediately fight the introduced package. This is a transition from the logic of import substitution, which appeared in 2014-2015, when it was like this: we are surrounded, we will do it ourselves, on our own, to the logic of changing the system of international partners, to the logic of localization, let’s come, do it with us.
That is, we began not so much to close ourselves as to try to rebuild these international chains. This is a very right direction,” said Likhacheva.
