Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev stated this today, speaking at the investment forum in Sochi.

“The key task is to develop a system of actions that will allow us to achieve in the coming years growth rates comparable to the world average, or better yet, higher than the world average,” Medvedev said.

He called the growth rate of industrial production last year modest - 1%. However, the prime minister noted, there are industries, and not only in the raw materials sector, where growth rates are double-digit: medicine: transport and agricultural engineering, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
