“Russia supplies tanks and agents. Russia was a strategic partner and became a geographical neighbor. Now Russia is an aggressor country,” the Prime Minister emphasized, noting that “Russia must answer for military aggression against Ukraine.”
“Russia planned aggression after the Orange Revolution. Vladimir Putin felt personally threatened. We must determine: what is against us is not the Russian country, but the Russian state, which has a nuclear button, which is no longer a member of the G20 club, but a member of the club of nuclear states. Europe thought that Putin was joking, that the greatest tragedy of the XNUMXth century was the collapse of the Soviet Union,” Yatsenyuk said.
According to him, despite the current situation with the humanitarian convoy, negotiations at the highest level must take place.
“Our allies are the United States, our allies are the EU, our allies are the GXNUMX countries. This is Geneva (format of negotiations in Geneva - editor's note) - EU, USA, Ukraine and Russia. To reach this format, it is necessary to conduct all negotiations and use all opportunities. We must stop Russia,” said the Prime Minister, speaking about the possible format of negotiations.
As Navigator reported, a summit meeting with the participation of Ukraine, the countries of the Customs Union, and the EU is scheduled to take place in Minsk on August 26.
