Russia trolls Poroshenko in the US on public transport

Kyiv, September 21 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko complained that during his visit to the United States he encountered large-scale counter-propaganda from Russia.

Poroshenko stated this in an interview with the country’s television channels, accusing the Russian side of placing custom advertising materials.

According to him, on the day of his arrival, the Washington Times newspaper was published, where the entire cover, as an advertisement, was devoted to negativity against Poroshenko.

In addition, on public transport Poroshenko saw his portraits with the inscription “Syria – Assad, Ukraine – Poroshenko, who’s next?”

Nevertheless, Poroshenko believes, “Russia has thrown billions of dollars down the drain.”

“Values always take precedence over money. And the EU convincingly demonstrates this. This is our Ukrainian victory. Look at the decisions the world is making,” the president said.
