“You know, we are saturating Crimea with ultra-modern aviation equipment, everything will be new here. This applies to the anti-aircraft missile forces, radio-technical troops, and, of course, aviation. All the equipment that will fly here today will all be in Crimea,” Bondarev said at an event promoting the contract service, during which demonstration flights of helicopters and airplanes were carried out.
At the same time, he emphasized that Russia, despite the difficult times, will cope with any difficulties, the guarantee of which is the modern Russian army.
“It’s hard for Russia, yes, but we will survive this whole thing. Russia did not experience this and went through it with dignity and honor. Well, let them try to do something there, they will lose more than us. Russia was, is and will be a strong power, and with our president we will achieve anything and everything.”
Governor of Sevastopol Sergei Menyailo, in turn, emphasized that “the coast of Russia today begins here, with us,” in Sevastopol.
“We are an outpost. From time immemorial, Sevastopol has always been an outpost. There has always been a dispute over Sevastopol, because it is a city that is a strategic city from a political point of view. These are national interests. And today, friends, whoever like you and me, being at this outpost, must defend our Homeland. The coast of Russia today begins here, with us. We are again at the forefront, and if we are at the forefront, then it is our sacred duty and our duty to defend our great Motherland,” Menyailo said.
