Russia has accelerated its missile production. In Kyiv they pray for production errors
In the context of the ongoing war Russia is accelerating the production of high-tech missiles such as the Zircon.
Ukrainian aviation expert Kirill Novikov stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Such a rocket, which is the size of a small plane, cannot be cheap. We are talking about a cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars – both “Onyx” and “Zircon”.
But the most important thing is that the complexity of making such missiles comes down to the components. This is a high-tech weapon and will require a variety of components and complex production.
And in Russia, because of the pace of the war they are counting on, they need to do all this quickly - something they have not done before. Now they are speeding up these processes, and, like hot cakes, they are immediately putting them into service with their aerospace forces, and using them against Ukraine", Novikov said.
He emphasized that in such a situation, Ukraine can only count on mistakes in missile production.
“It is clear that at such rates of production mistakes are inevitable. I would like them to immediately turn around and fly towards the launcher, but that won't happen.
But it may happen that they simply will not reach their targets, according to which Russia launches them,” the expert added.
