This is how Dmitry Marunich, co-chairman of the Energy Strategies Fund, commented on the recent statement by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine about the export of Donbass coal through Russia on the air of the Cynics program on Radio Vesti.
Let us recall that the country's Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Vladimir Demchishin recently stated that the Ukrainian government had allegedly agreed on a scheme for the export of coal from the ATO zone in Donbass through Russian territory.
“Let’s not forget, and call a spade a spade, the territory of the DPR and LPR, and especially the Russian Federation, the Cabinet of Ministers does not control. Therefore, after this statement by Demchishin, the question remains - with whom did they coordinate the routes for exporting coal through Russia? This is a very correct decision, it would help us, it would make coal more expensive, but it would help, but, as far as I know, no coordination exists in nature and, in general, Russia probably learned about this on TV,” he said.
