According to him, the restrictions have forced Russia to turn to cooperation with Asian countries, and European businesses are seeing their contracts now gone.

“This situation has a negative impact on our partners in European countries. It is clear that they see their contracts going to Asian countries. Here the Chinese tell me: “The Poles wanted to sell us apples.” You can imagine - these are the apples that did not come to the Russian market. And how will the Chinese, who are large apple producers, buy Polish apples? This is just an example of how business is seriously suffering,” Meshkov said.
