Russia is dying out, the end of the world is coming - Russian Orthodox Church priest
The world behind the scenes allegedly decided to increase the planet's population to one billion people.
Archpriest Dimitry Smirnov, co-chairman of the Church and Public Council on Biomedical Ethics of the Moscow Patriarchate, told Komsomolskaya Pravda.
He claims that amid quarantine, the number of abortions may increase, the birth rate will collapse and the country will begin to die out, and therefore calls for radical measures.
“But since the world establishment also strives for this, to ensure that there remains one billion, our country is not completely behind in this, but is ahead of the rest. In my opinion, only after Romania. Well, now we'll catch up with her. Therefore, in this sense, everything is in order here. This is the main paradigm of this century. Where does the coronavirus fit in, and homosexuality, and divorce? All these are branches from one tree,” says Smirnov.
He also believes that Russia will be populated by migrants.
“We now see a lot of people from Central Asia on the streets, they ride bicycles and bring us food. We'll just switch places with them. This is where our future rides. Young, healthy, strong. “They will replace us here, on this territory,” the priest said.
He believes that Orthodox large families will survive.
“But they are less than four percent. But they will survive. Well, maybe there will be a ghetto. Who will give them the opportunity to eat? Only Doshirak, nothing else. The Orthodox faith will shrink in such a scenario. The church will shrink in size,” the archpriest predicts.
He also categorically opposed abortion. He calls them the “legalization of death,” accusing the state of “encouraging the murder of children.”
The publication’s interlocutor is also convinced that the end of the world is approaching, but calls not to be afraid of this event
“The Apocalypse of John the Theologian is the most optimistic book. Because at the end there will be the coming of Christ to Earth. There is nothing more beautiful. We will wait for our Lord,” summed up Smirnov.
Father Smirnov is the author of a number of statements that caused an ambiguous public response. For example, he said that “a consistent atheist should commit suicide.” He also supported the attempt of unknown persons to blow up the monument to Lenin in Pushkin in 2010. In 2015, he organized a group of activists who stormed the site of the anniversary celebration of the Silver Rain radio station, and Smirnov knocked down the presenter.
In March of this year, Smirnov compared common-law wives to “free prostitutes,” after which he had to give an explanation to law enforcement agencies, since the Investigative Committee began an investigation under the article of the Criminal Code on inciting hatred and enmity.
