Russia is an accomplice in the Ukrainian tragedy - it realized it too late
Russia, like the West, bears responsibility for the current situation in Ukraine. Political scientist and economist Sergei Karaganov stated this on TV channel.

“We are complicit in the current tragedy in Ukraine because we smiled for too long and thought that somehow it would resolve. If we had been tougher 10 years ago, then perhaps there would not have been this tragedy of Ukraine, which is now hopeless,” Karaganov said.
He claims that he personally communicated with people who in 2014 wanted to implement the scenario of a military conflict in Ukraine, where Russia would be drawn in.
“There was such a scenario, but it was not possible to implement it. Now Europe is scared, and America is not sure that it is interested in this. Now there are fewer opportunities to externally incite this conflict, but we must always be prepared. Ukraine is simply a breeding ground for “black swans,” that is, unforeseen disasters,” Karaganov said.
