As Navigator reported, yesterday the Russian border checkpoint Novoshakhtinsky, which corresponds to the Dolzhansky checkpoint on the Ukrainian side, came under mortar fire. According to Russian authorities, buildings were destroyed and a customs officer was seriously injured.
