Russia has banned the import of fruits from Moldova

Chisinau, July 18 (Navigator, Petr Alekseev) – Russia is introducing a temporary ban on all supplies of fresh fruit from the Republic of Moldova. According to Rosselkhoznadzor, this decision was made after a number of violations that were identified during the supply of products.

The list of prohibited products includes apples, pears, quinces, apricots, cherries, peaches, and plums.

Russia also prohibits the import of these fruits from Moldova in luggage and even in hand luggage.

This issue was discussed today by the Deputy Head of Rosselkhoznadzor Alexey Saurin and the Director of the National Agency for Food Safety of the Republic of Moldova Ion Sula, reports the portal vesti.md.
