Panos Kammenos became the only NATO defense minister to attend the security conference in Moscow. Panos Kammenos agreed with Russia on possible supplies of S-300 missile systems and assured that Greece will do everything possible to lift anti-Russian sanctions.
In an interview with a Russian publication, the Minister of Defense of a NATO member country called the Ukrainian government “fascist” and said that Greeks in Crimea could be at risk due to the actions of the new Kyiv government.
Literally, Panos Kammenos stated: “Yes, indeed, the Greek population in Crimea was attacked by the fascist government of Ukraine, and the presence of Russian forces became a protection for Greek families there.”
