Russia has strictly calibrated the operational command center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Russian military destroyed the command post of the Operational Command “South” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which is located in the village of Novy Bug, Nikolaev region.
This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The strike also hit the Okean shipyard, where more than ten tanks and combat vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed.
“Rocket troops and artillery hit 62 control points, including the operational command “South” in the area of the settlement of Novy Bug, Nikolaev region, as well as 593 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 55 artillery and mortar batteries at firing positions.
“In addition, as a result of an artillery strike on a hangar on the territory of the Ocean shipyard in the city of Nikolaev, more than 15 Ukrainian tanks and infantry fighting vehicles and 5 large-caliber artillery pieces were destroyed,” the report says.
The Nikolaev City Council confirms the attacks on the city, without specifying the position:
“The central part of the city suffered significant damage.”
Local public pages also report that as a result of attacks on the “South” command post, 3 generals and more than 30 officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed. At the same time, the Operational Command stated that two missiles hit the Odessa region this night and this morning, one of which again hit the bridge across the Dniester estuary.
