Russia has the most advanced missile technology, which neither the United States nor China can yet match.
Doctor of Military Sciences, specialized expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this in an interview with Russian journalist Andrei Karaulov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, some of this potential was developed back in the Soviet years, but, for example, the Caliber missiles were put into service only recently.
“Currently we can be proud of a fairly wide range of different weapons systems. If we talk about the fleet, this is, first of all, of course, the X-32 missile, which is in service with naval missile-carrying aviation, as part of long-range aviation. This is a modernization of the X-22 missile.
If we take the data that is known from the Internet, then this is, in fact, a hypersonic missile that has been in service with our Aerospace Forces for a long time, which has a good range and flight speed - low hypersonic, about Mach 5-6. It really penetrates the air defense system. The firing range of this missile is such that it allows it not to enter the range of even the fighter aircraft of an aircraft carrier...

A missile of a caliber that is superior in its tactical and technical characteristics to the American Tomahawk - both in conventional and nuclear versions. Moreover, both in terms of range and shooting accuracy. On the other hand, what is a Caliber missile? The rocket was created and fully tested before 91.
