Russians consider the US three times more dangerous than North Korea

Half of the participants in a sociological survey conducted by VTsIOM believe that the United States could use weapons of mass destruction against Russia, 32% believe that Al-Qaeda is capable of this, 15% believe that Chechen terrorists are capable of this, and 13% believe that North Korea is capable of this.

These are the data from a survey of this sociological organization.

Respondents believe that North Korea is most likely to use nuclear weapons against the United States (51% of respondents) or South Korea (33%). Only 13% name Russia as a possible target of attack from the DPRK.

In connection with the threat of a nuclear conflict on the Korean Peninsula, the majority of Russians do not support either side, and Russia’s participation is allowed only as a mediator in negotiations (73%), while 19% are in favor of absolute non-interference.
