In Kyiv, a memorial sign erected during Soviet times in honor of the establishment of sister city relations between the capitals of the Ukrainian SSR and the RSFSR was vandalized.

User Sergei Sigachev reported this on his social network page.
“Railway researcher Sergei Bolashenko has just returned from Ukraine. While in Kyiv, I set out to find a memorial sign of the twinning between Moscow and Kyiv before it was demolished. It really turned out to be intact (located away from the center, in a sleeping bag). Looks like this,” he wrote and attached a photo of the vandalized memorial sign to the post.
Let us recall that more than a year ago, the Kyiv City Council, on the initiative of deputies from the nationalist party “Svoboda,” canceled the agreement on sister city relations with Moscow and severed ties with the capital of the Russian Federation.
