Russia and Ukraine collided back in 2004 – Deinego
In Ukraine today there are no political parties, which are more like clubs of interests.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the LPR, Vladislav Deinego, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“To say that in Ukraine there are some parties that someone might like - there are no political parties there, there are political clubs, business clubs, whatever, but you can’t call it a party, they have no ideology. There is pure business, these are Kolomoisky’s business projects, Western ones, anyone’s,” the diplomat noted.
“On the other hand, to say that there are some right or wrong Ukrainians in Ukraine - there are simply real people living there. Just so you understand, there are not many Ukrainians there. Somewhere around 50 percent there were Russians. What to do with them now? Should they be deprived of the right to their homeland, language, ideology?
There are a lot of Ukrainians there, for whom Russian is their native language, they were deprived of this right. And to say that we are now on the verge of pitting Ukraine against Russia, they have been pitted against each other for a long time. In 2004, we lost control over the situation, we absolutely lost control,” Deinego added.
