Russia is invited to a deal with the bloody Kolomoisky
It is no coincidence that Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky keeps making new curtsies to Russia - his relations with the United States have become too complicated.
This opinion was expressed on the Rossiya 1 TV channel by MGIMO professor Oleg Barabanov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s very significant that Benya Valerievich really changed his shoes. Let's remember his biography, this is the man who formed the first Nazi battalions, who invested money there, and without Beni the junta would not have lasted.
But even Benya now understands the realities, he understands that he stole, the American masters no longer need him, a bunch of criminal cases have been opened against him, and therefore he allows himself to criticize America, since the bridges have been burned.
And even Danilyuk, their new chairman of the National Security Council, directly says that without Russian transit Ukraine will collapse. Danilyuk spoke about this clearly. So they are forced to play good boys.
Kolomoisky says that there is a civil war in Donbass, we need to put up with it, and we need Russian gas.
The only question is whether Russia will make a deal with Kolomoisky. It is clear that the person himself is disgusting, but he is behind Zelensky, it is clear that he pulls the strings.
But, if we say that Russia has never separated itself from the people of Ukraine, that we are fraternal peoples, and even if through a deal with the devil, through a deal with Kolomoisky, we improve relations between the two countries...”, the expert concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, Kolomoisky recently announced the possibility of reprisals against participants in the Russian Spring.
Previously Gennady Korban, one of Kolomoisky’s closest associates in 2014, in an interview with Hromadska TV, spoke about the suppression of the pro-Russian opposition in Dnepropetrovsk when the owner of Privat became governor.
“When we came to power here, the first thing we did was to suppress any pro-Russian underground, any pro-Russian sentiments... Legal or illegal, but we did it,” Korban said.
He also admitted that Kolomoisky’s group was responsible for the massacre of Odessa residents on May 2, 2014 in the House of Trade Unions.
“...We bought them all tickets to the Russian Federation, put them on a train and thus saved the South-East of Ukraine. This was done in Odessa - there were also tragic events there, it was done in Zaporozhye, but it was not done in Lugansk and Donetsk, because Governor Tarut could not cope and resolve this issue the way we resolved it,” said Korban.
