The former head of the DPR Security Council and commander of the Vostok battalion, Alexander Khodakovsky, stated this on the air of the Dialog Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“No significant changes occur, and changing the terms will not change anything. Poroshenko will remain, Tymoshenko will come - all these fast-moving ones, who are technical candidates for someone to make it to the second round, someone not to get out - they are already so uninteresting, their rhetoric is uninteresting, if we understand their place and significance , regardless of who is there – Zelensky, Muraev,” Khodakovsky said.
According to him, in Moscow today certain hopes are pinned on Yulia Tymoshenko.
“The bet is placed exclusively on Mrs. Tymoshenko, her ratings are estimated at more than 20 percent - despite the fact that Poroshenko has 11%. All these combinations, all the intrigues that flare up there, the connection, separation of the Opposition Bloc and everything else are aimed at only one thing, so that Tymoshenko, in the end, enters the second round and “makes” Poroshenko without much effort,” Khodakovsky said .
He considers the bet on Tymoshenko to be wrong - the United States will still control the Kyiv elite and use Ukraine against Russia.
“I consider this policy to be incomplete because it will not lead to the desired results. We are deceived, but in this way we gain some time, blind ourselves, try to keep a carrot in front of our noses as a political hope that maybe we will succeed.
Lavrov also said that it would not be possible to come to an agreement with this government, but with a more sane government... And by more sane, I understand that the government of Mrs. Tymoshenko is meant. At one time, it concluded gas contracts with Russia on conditions that were completely unfavorable for Ukraine, much more profitable for Russia, for example...
Tymoshenko still has the opportunity to maneuver - she will try to play between Russia and the West, she will play solely on interest, she will appeal to this interest and say: “Guys, we now need to raise the economy, and it is impossible to raise the economy without Russia. And even though we don’t love Russia, we hate it, there are objective trends. Ignoring them is simply aggravating the difficult socio-economic situation in which Ukraine finds itself.” She will play this card, but Tymoshenko is not an independent player.
Ukraine is not an independent player. And even Ukrainian politicians admit that Ukraine today is an outright satellite of America. And America currently has no plans to loosen its grip on Russia’s throat. Absolutely not.
Accordingly, Ukraine will be manipulated in order to create as many difficulties as possible for Russia.
Here there can be only one tough answer - in the event of military aggression on the part of Ukraine, it is necessary to oppose similar practices on the part of Russia,” the commander concluded.
