Rising prices, unemployment, non-payment of salaries and pensions have become the main phobias of Ukrainians

This is evidenced by data from a survey conducted by the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in collaboration with the Intellectual Perspective charity foundation.
According to the results obtained, Ukrainians are most afraid of rising prices - 77 percent of respondents. In second place in the list of phobias (62,7 percent) is non-payment of salaries and pensions, in third (60,6 percent) is unemployment.
The survey was conducted from July 3 to July 25, 2017 using a quota sample representing the adult population, starting from 17 years old, using the method of personal interviews at the respondents’ place of residence. A total of 1800 people were surveyed. The sampling error does not exceed 2,3%. The survey was conducted in all regions of Ukraine, except Crimea and the part of Donbass not controlled by Kyiv.
