Citizens cite low salaries and pensions as the main problem in Ukraine compared to others (41%). This trend has not changed for several months.

This is evidenced by the results of a sociological study conducted by the Ukrainian Institute of the Future, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

In second place are three problems at once: the war in Donbass (0%), corruption (0%) and high utility tariffs (34%). In the absence of significant aggravations on the contact line and in the absence of a heating season, the problems of war and tariffs are in conditional second place. In relative third place is the rise in prices for basic types of goods (33%). Since the beginning of the year, this figure has increased significantly (from 33%). “We see this number starting to grow. That is, today the four main problems – low wages, war, corruption and tariffs – include high prices,” said Vadym Denisenko, director of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future. The problem of the pandemic is mentioned somewhat more often (28%) compared to the beginning of summer (21%), and much less frequently than in April (19%), when the incidence rate in Ukraine was high. The survey was conducted by the Ukrainian Institute of the Future from September 16 to 27, 18. 28 respondents over 2021 years of age from all regions of Ukraine were interviewed using personal interviews.
