The growth of tariffs for housing and communal services for Ukrainians will continue
Many heat supply companies in Ukraine have already raised heat tariffs, and this trend will continue next year due to rising gas prices.
The head of the Union of Utility Consumers Oleg Popenko stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Gas will rise in price in any case. The price for heat has already been raised. Next year, all heating and power utilities will receive heat at a higher price than now, I’m sure of it. Almost all of them in Ukraine have already increased the cost of their services. In Kyiv, the cost of a gigocalorie is 2200 [hryvnia]. In Pavlograd today – 2300, in Kharkov – 2100. In some cities there will be 3000. We will get there,” the expert noted.
“Next year I expect gas prices to rise as well. In any case, the price will increase by 1,5 - 2 hryvnia. Now we pay 8, we will pay 9,5. I’m sure of this,” Popenko said.
