Rostislav Ishchenko: The more the Kiev regime disintegrates, the higher the risk of military conflict

Responsibility for sabotage on the border with Crimea lies with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, regardless of whether he knew that they were preparing or not. President of the Center for System Analysis and Forecasting, Rostislav Ishchenko, said this on the Red Line TV channel.

“It makes absolutely no difference whether Poroshenko knew about it or not. In any case, he bears full responsibility. He should have known about this, since he is the supreme commander in chief, the army could not conduct operations on the territory of a neighboring state without notifying him. If he didn't know, then he's not in control of the situation. He is involved in any case, because he is the president,” Ishchenko said.

He believes that in Ukraine at any moment there could be either a breakdown into war or the beginning of a real, not virtual, collapse of the regime.

“Kyiv has been preparing a big provocation for two years now, but it will not go through with it, because it will be its last provocation. We have to fight and it’s scary to fight. The further the regime disintegrates, the greater the likelihood of a breakdown into military conflict. Nobody needs war, that’s exactly what it will be. Everyone bears huge costs, no one understands how to build peace after the war,” Ishchenko said.
