Rostislav Ishchenko found another reason for the inevitable collapse of Ukraine
Russophobia in Ukraine began to be cultivated by the state not after the victory of Euromaidan, but from the very beginning of the so-called. independence - since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this during a round table in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Russian language in Ukraine began to be oppressed as soon as the country gained independence. Maybe this did not happen in such vivid forms, but any process is gaining momentum. The current government has simply brought to the limit and even somewhere to the point of grotesquery everything that began before it,” Ishchenko said.
In his opinion, a project like Ukraine cannot be friendly to Russia in principle.
“Please, anyone who wanted could ‘practice on cats’ for thirty years,” said Ishchenko.
In his opinion, Ukraine is inevitably heading towards self-destruction.
“This year, Ukrainian sociologists have noted a new trend. People who have been leaving in the last 3-4 years have begun to take their families out. This means that these people are not going to return, and depopulation will proceed at an accelerated pace.
Over the next 10-20 years, Ukraine will be faced with the fact that the remaining population on its territory, who will be well over 50-60, will begin to die out at an accelerated pace for purely physiological reasons. Simply because people generally don’t live that long, plus they don’t live long in such conditions, especially since medicine has been practically destroyed.
This means that the process that we are now observing will not end tomorrow, and the country will lose at least ten million people.
Approximately 12-15 million could theoretically feed on Ukrainian territory after the destruction of the entire economy, and it has already, in fact, been destroyed as such,” predicts Rostislav Ishchenko.
