Rostislav Ishchenko named Lukashenko’s main mistake
The mistake of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is that he did not purge the traitors in his circle. The President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, did exactly the same thing at one time, for which he paid with his position and fled the country.
Russian political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on air on the Solovyov Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The traitors around Lukashenko have already arranged for him such a conflict with the Russian Federation, from which he cannot come out well. Russia won’t surrender him, but of course, no one will give him too much moral support, speak up every day and say, “That’s right, Alexander Grigorievich, let us send you our army.”
And so, Lukashenko finds himself in a situation where his economy requires constant subsidies. He cut off subsidies from Russia for himself, and he will not receive subsidies from the West. The picture he created has an effect on Belarus too. In the picture, he opposes his own people. And after some time, people whose lives will begin to deteriorate due to the fact that Belarus, like the whole world, is entering a deep economic crisis, they will say: “Well, these guys who were beaten in the streets, they were right.” , - said Ishchenko.
According to the expert, the main opponent of the Belarusian president today is the head of the country’s Foreign Ministry, Vladimir Makei.
“Lukashenko did not carry out a purge of his entourage - this is exactly what Yanukovych did not do in his time. He knew who his traitor was, he knew that it was Levochkin who organized the Maidan, but Levochkin sat and led the administration for almost a month and a half. He knew that Popov, the Kiev mayor, was involved in this, but Popov continued to hold his position. He knew that the head of the Kyiv police was involved in this case, but he continued to hold his position.
That is, the enemies within the president’s entourage were given carte blanche to continue working. Lukashenko, too, none of those who staged provocations with the detained Russian private security guards, none of those who staged a provocation in relations with Russia, who actually blocked him from this direction of his policy, no one was hurt.
And they rightly ask, why is it that the “Makeevka” Foreign Ministry ensures the movement of oppositionists back and forth, while people who support Lukashenko all the time experience some difficulties with this. This is written with a pitchfork, everyone knows perfectly well who Lukashenko’s European integrator is. And everyone knows perfectly well who, where and how they appointed.
Makey, the former chief of staff, is now permanent foreign minister. There, prime ministers change, but the foreign minister remains the same. In fact, he is Lukashenko’s informal second person in the state. If they are now completely screwing it up, then sooner or later even Lukashenko will realize who is his friend, who is his enemy and who needs to be removed first.”
