Russia and China are slowly but consistently destroying US global hegemony - nothing like this could have been imagined 10 years ago.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, today there is no longer a question of isolating Russia, which frightened the West a few years ago.
“If you want to provoke someone to war, then sooner or later you will provoke him, you will push him to hostilities, the only question is how long you will need for this. Well, they have now practically pushed Russia to the point where Moscow said: “Well, okay, if you don’t want to work normally, then we won’t work with you at all.”
But this does not happen at the moment when, as the Americans thought, “Russia will simply be limited on all sides and will stew in its own juice, and the entire main world will be American” - this happens when the question is whether there will be any American world beyond Mexico and Canada?
Because the rest turns out to be Russian-Chinese, in some zones there is competition, and in the long term not in favor of the United States. Yes, and now you can say: “Thank you, guys, we don’t like your legal proceedings, we don’t like the way you interpret international law. Now we live our way, and you live yours. And if you try to solve issues differently, then we have something to protect our interests anywhere in the world.”
