Politnavigator correspondent Sergei Rulev visited the scene of the explosion in the center of Rostov and talked with city residents. The police leadership has not yet given information to journalists, although it is known that the regional department of the RF Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case regarding the fact that a man received bodily injuries as a result of the explosion of an unidentified object.
An improvised explosive device exploded today at 7 a.m. in Rostov-on-Don at the intersection of Socialist and Nakhichevan streets. The explosive device was hidden in a hand-held flashlight. A 46-year-old victim, having found a flashlight in an ownerless package, tried to turn it on, and an explosion occurred.
