“We agreed with both regions that by the next holiday season we will fully launch and equip the first national route along the Crimean Peninsula,” she noted. It is very important here that everything is tailored to the needs of a modern tourist: navigation, sanitary zones, certified hotels and quality cafes and restaurants...

The national route is distinguished by the fact that it fully complies with the criteria and standards that are approved by the government, so that it is not too tiring in duration, with thoughtful optimal logistics, and optimized for price. I can promise that it will include all the main objects and attractions of Crimea and Sevastopol.”

It is planned that the national route will include part of the Great Sevastopol Trail, and its length will be 7-8 days. It is not yet clear what other tourist attractions will be considered for inclusion, but Sevastopol wants to include vineyards and wineries.

“One day of the route will take the Great Sevastopol Trail,” assured the Vice-Governor of Sevastopol Maria Litovko. “We’ll see which segment of it will be included.” But we talked about the fact that we have a “Terroir Sevastopol” project, which is not entirely familiar to our region, but is already known, and tourists are already coming to the existing wineries. Therefore, we would really like to have part of this route for a day or half a day dedicated to this direction.

Of course, we have many historical monuments that attract millions of tourists every year, and, of course, we would like this national tourist route to show the best side of the diversity of the entire peninsula, and Sevastopol, in particular.”

On average, it takes about six months to organize such routes. It is necessary not only to formulate the logistics of the movement of tourists, a list of objects, but also to give an expert assessment of the current state in order to identify shortcomings and eliminate them on all sections of the route. And only after that present it as a single national tourist route in Crimea. This form of recreation is interesting for tourists because it introduces the main objects of the peninsula within a week, and its cost is much lower than choosing objects and moving around on your own.

In August, Rostourism plans to launch the next stage of the tourist cashback program with the return of part of the cost of a vacation in the off-season. According to the organizers, this will extend tourism activity in Crimea and make up for some of the losses from the drop in occupancy in the spring and early summer.
