“According to our sources in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the second company of the third battalion of the 59th motorized infantry brigade in full force refused to go to the positions assigned to them. The company commander with the call sign “Ruslan” made a report to the higher command, in which he stated the reluctance of the company personnel to take part in hostilities, citing the fact that the servicemen were waiting for rotation and wanted to return home alive,” said Andrei Marochko.
For the purpose of investigation, a military law enforcement unit arrived at the location of the company. The company commander and platoon commanders were detained.
