Rutskoi: Kyiv’s refusal of the Minsk agreements should lead to the deployment of Russian troops
Kyiv, February 26 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – If Ukraine does not comply with the terms of the Minsk agreements, Russia must recognize the DPR and LPR, and after that, on the basis of bilateral agreements between them, send its own troops to these territories. Hero of the USSR, ex-Vice President of the Russian Federation Alexander Rutskoy stated this on the air of the talk show “Politics with Pyotr Tolstoy”.

According to him, this is an effective mechanism for ensuring peace in Ukraine.
“If the Ukrainian side does not comply with the document, which has acquired international status, Russia is forced to make a statement to the world community and outline its position: if Minsk-2 is not implemented, these two republics will be recognized diplomatically, an agreement will be signed, and Russian troops will be sent in to peacekeeping purposes to stop the bloodshed. If this is not done, this whole infection will spread not only throughout Ukraine, but will also pour into Europe,” Rutskoi said.
