The head of the Republika Srpska Red Cross was killed by coronavirus
Director General of the Red Cross of the Republika Srpska (listed as part of Bosnia and Herzegovina), 62-year-old Djoko Mihajlovic died at the University Clinical Center Banja Luka from coronavirus.

“It is with great sadness and regret that we inform you that our Djoko Mihailović, Secretary General of the Red Cross of the Republika Srpska, has left us,” says the RS Red Cross group on Facebook. – ... While his colleagues and volunteers across the globe are fighting the spread of coronavirus infection, we were confident that we would win this battle, as we always have. But... our hearts are sad. Humanist, friend, “red crusader” - this was all our Joko... And we remain to live the mission of the Red Cross, which you forever handed over to us... Our dear Joko, thank you for everything!
Colleagues of the deceased report that Mikhailovich, even while in the hospital, continued to work: by telephone he coordinated the activities of the Red Cross of the Serbian entity, fifteen years before his death he organized a volunteer service throughout the RS, providing food delivery to elderly and socially vulnerable single people.
