The DPR leadership says that security forces used chemical weapons in Mariupol
Donetsk – Mariupol, May 09 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” issued a statement accusing security forces of using chemical weapons of an “unidentified type” on May 6 during the storming of the Mariupol City Council.

“On May 6, 2014, in the city of Mariupol, armed detachments subordinate to the Kyiv authorities used chemical weapons of an unknown type during the storming of the City Council. City Council defenders left the site of the chemical attack. Many of them suffered damage to their respiratory tract, with health consequences and possible threat to life,” the DPR statement said.
“We call on all states to condemn the use of chemical poisonous and asphyxiating weapons in the city of Mariupol, repeating the fascist practices of the 40s condemned by the world community, and to take comprehensive measures to internationally isolate the criminal Kiev regime,” representatives of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” said.
As Navigator reported, according to eyewitnesses, after the storming of the City Council by security forces, DPR supporters entered the premises again, 10-15 of them turned to doctors for help.
