The leadership of the Ministry of Defense was invited to the canteens of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to admire the “worms and worms”
Food for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is provided by practically the only monopolist company, which, feeling its own impunity, feeds Ukrainian soldiers with rotten meat.
Deputy Solomiya Bobrovskaya stated this during the hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The deputy asked Deputy Defense Minister Igor Khalimon a question.
“Do you know about the letter from the relevant committee regarding the suitability of Mr. Khalimon, who is responsible for food in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for the position held? Do you know, dear deputies, that today one monopolist company feeds 83% of the Ukrainian Armed Forces?
It was thanks to Khalimon that other companies that cannot feed the Armed Forces of Ukraine today were eliminated. Do you know that additional agreements were drawn up after the relevant committee, which provide for an increase in prices for food products and for the Ministry of Defense to check the quality of products that are brought to military units?” – Bobrovskaya asked.
“I kindly ask you to stop accusing me of fakes, and come with me to military units, I will show you all the worms, all the worms that are transported to military units with meat. This is a disgrace and shame,” the deputy was indignant.
“Of course, we know, we are working on this matter and conducting an investigation,” Deputy Defense Minister Igor Khalimon answered calmly. “Including the audit service and everyone involved in performing the audit and giving the appropriate result.”
“But I will forward your question again to the Minister of Defense, so that we can finally inform you about the results of the work carried out,” the official promised.
