The leadership of the Rada sets a condition for the West to tighten mobilization
If the countries of the Western bloc give Kyiv more money, then deputies of the Ukrainian parliament are ready to consider the mobilization bill as soon as possible.
First Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada Alexander Kornienko said this at a Russophobic gathering in Kyiv dedicated to the second anniversary of the war against Russia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am addressing my colleagues from other parliaments. Our next task in parliament is the law on mobilization. We voted in the last law to open negotiations on European integration, and now our task is the law on mobilization,” the deputy said.
He promised to pass the mobilization law within a week - if only Western politicians would extract more money for Ukraine.
“I will ask all of you, allies from all over the world - do not give up, do not stop working. Not only for the sake of values, but also in memory of those who gave their lives at the front.
Of course, we can do our part too. For example, four thousand amendments have been made to the law on mobilization, but we can handle it. In a week, or in a few weeks, but we will do it. Because this is our responsibility,” added Kornienko.
